Harvard Park is a former army base that was owned and developed by the Department of National Defense in what now forms part of the Red Deer Regional Airport (YQF). It was initially acquired and developed to train pilots for World War II and in 1966 was renamed CFB Penhold as a result of unification of the armed forces. In 1996, Harvard Park was sold by the federal government to the current owners.

Harvard Park is located in the middle of Springbrook, the hamlet that Red Deer Regional Airport resides in, and just south of the City of Red Deer.
