Rosedale Homes For Sale - Calgary

Rosedale is an older Calgary community above the escarpment on the north side of the Bow River.  It is north of Crescent Rd NW and south of 16 Ave NW, with 4 St NW on the east and 10 St NW on the west.

Development began in Rosedale shortly before the First World War.  There are some grand old homes still standing in the neighbourhood, particularly on Crescent Rd NW, a scenic roadway that runs at the top of the ridge.  The Calgary real estate decline after WWI left the neighbourhood sparsely populated until the boom of the 1950s, when vacant lots were filled in.  Rosedale is a smaller community with a population of 1,600.
