Richmond Hill homes for sale are located in an upper middle class neighbourhood on the western edge of Calgary just south of Signal Hill. The community's namesake is Richmond Road, a historical trail that once went from downtown Calgary to the Bragg Creek area, but was reconfigured in the early 1990s with the construction of Highway 8. The current Richmond Road comes west of Sarcee Trail and ends at the community of Richmond Hill.
The neighbourhood lies north of Highway 8 and east of 69 St SW. The neighbourhood is built on a gentle rise and many homes have views of the Rockies to the west or the Elbow River valley to the south and east. It is a family-oriented community, with quiet cul-de-sacs and curved streets.
