The Lincoln Park neighbourhood of southwest Calgary is situated between Mount Royal University and Glenmore Trail, with 37 St SW on the west side and Crowchild Trail on the east side. It was named after the U.S. Air Force Base which was on this location in WWII, which includes the small group of modest homes provided to personnel south of 54 Ave SW.
Today, Lincoln Park is a mixed-use area which includes the ATCO complex, a new business park, a car dealership, church and senior’s housing. There are townhomes and mid-rise condominium buildings to the south and west of the university.

The pathway along the reservoir connects with Heritage Park and the Elbow River Pathway system to downtown Calgary. Nearby Glenmore Athletic Park has a 400m outdoor track, a velodrome and an indoor salt water pool. There is a small shopping centre beside the car dealership, with more extensive shopping available on 37 St SW and at Westhills Shopping Centre. Chinook Centre is five minutes to the east.
Designated Lincoln Park schools are Jennie Elliot Elementary School in Lakeview, St. James, Central Memorial Senior High School and Bishop Carroll Senior High School.
