This small community of less than 1,000 residents is on the east side of Lake Bonavista at the bottom of a hill. It is south of Anderson Road, north of Canyon Meadows Dr SE and east of Bow Bottom Trail SE. Construction on the small community began in 1973. It is often viewed as an extension of its cousin to the west, Lake Bonavista, as all street names begin with “Lake”.
Yet, this neighbourhood has its own community association building. This 40-plus year old community has mature poplar trees and well-kept homes. As an older community, it has an older demographic with an average resident age of 40 years.

The Trico Recreation Centre is just five minutes away and elementary students can walk to several public or separate schools, with Nickel Junior High a five-minute ride away. High school students attend Dr. E.P. Scarlett or Bishop Grandin.
