About Hillhurst Real Estate
The average price of Hillhurst real estate ranges between $1,235,000 and $1,450,000. Only a third of homes are single family detached, with new condominiums under development particularly close to Riley Park. Most of the homes built prior to WWI in this neighbourhood have been renovated and updated with the character of the home intact. This trendy district is a destination neighbourhood because of the cafes, boutique stores, wine markets and high end restaurants. It is accessible from downtown Calgary by car via the Louise Bridge or by bike or foot via the nearby Peace Bridge.

Hillhurst is also the first stop outside the free fare zone north of downtown Calgary. Getting in and out of this inner-city neighbourhood is relatively easy along Memorial Drive or 16 Ave NW (Trans-Canada Highway), either of which connect to the north/south arteries of Crowchild or Deerfoot Trails.

SAIT and ACAD are on the north end of the community with the U of C and Foothills Medical Centre just minutes away. Schools in the community include Hillhurst Elementary School, Queen Elizabeth Junior/Senior High School.
