About Eau Claire Real Estate
Eau Claire real estate prior to redevelopment more than 30 years ago was almost a slum. Today, the neighbourhood has the reputation of being an exclusive area with mainly luxury high-rise condo towers as well as a mix of low-rise and townhouse units. There are still plenty of moderately priced condo apartments available in the area from under $300,000. Most two-bedroom two-bathroom suites are priced in the $500,000 to $800,000 range depending on the building, proximity to the river and building amenities. Newer buildings offer a wide-range of amenities; however, with more amenities come higher monthly condo fees. There are no single family homes in Eau Claire Calgary. Restaurants, shops, groceries, hotels and night clubs are all within walking distance of Eau Claire. Festivals and community events are held nearly every weekend in the summer on Princess Island Park such as the Calgary Folk Music Festival, Carifest and Shakespeare in the Park.

Students living in Eau Claire may attend Connaught, Sunalta, Sacred Heart Catholic Elementary, Mount Royal Junior High School, Western Canada High School or St. Mary’s Catholic High School.
