The southwest inner-city community of Connaught Calgary is a fascinating heritage neighbourhood established in 1905. It lies between the CPR tracks on the north, 17 Ave SW on the south, and 4 St SW on the east and 14 St SW on the west. It still has wide sidewalks, grassy boulevards, tree lined streets and some original homes that have been converted to apartments or for commercial use.
