The northeast neighbourhood of Castleridge is a mid-sized community of 6,300 residents, located east of the Calgary International Airport.  It is north of McKnight Blvd NE to 64 Ave NE between 44 St NE and Falconridge Blvd NE.  It is a diverse community built in the 1980s, with representation from variety of cultures and ethnicities.  Located in Castleridge is Canada’s largest mosque, Baitun Nur - built in 2008 by the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community.  Castleridge is an excellent community in which to find a starter home or investment property.  For a community of its size and age, it has a younger population with an average resident age of 33 years.
