Bridgeland, Calgary is an inner-city community in Calgary’s immediate northeast. It lies north of the Bow River and south of the escarpment between Edmonton Trail on the west and Deerfoot Trail on the east. This community was built in the early 20th Century and many original homes built by Italian and German immigrants remain.

Bridgeland today is a mix of old and ultra-new. There are a variety of parks in Bridgeland and nearby Tom Campbell’s Hill is a natural area for walking the dog or enjoying the city view. The older streets boast mature trees with wide sidewalks. Coffee shops, restaurants and food markets are all close at hand. Bridgeland has an LRT stop and is very close to Deerfoot Trail. There are schools within walking distance in this community.
