The picturesque well-established community of Scarboro, situated in Southwest Calgary, was annexed to the City in 1907. It consists composed of mostly detached homes on Scarboro Hill, and Upper Scarboro, consisting of the rest of the small residential area, west of Crowchild Trail.
This community was developed adhering to the topography of land and street names rather than using numbers. To maintain its status as a residential community, a restrictive covenant was set on lots, limiting their use to purely residential in nature. Residents of this upscale community enjoy an abundance of green space and large lots.
Scarboro has plenty of shops, restaurants, cafes and one public school. It is close to the Bow River recreational pathways, the Calgary Tennis Club, the golf courses of Shaganappi and Richmond Green and an outdoor pool.
Enjoy luxurious living in idyllic Scarboro, with plenty of green space, amenities and picturesque views!
