“The Duchesse” - Magna Carta Homes' Dream Project
Magna Carta Homes was created by Stu Burger as a result of craving to pursue the building cycle, after years of learning and experiencing the basics of home building.
Stu Burger, the originator of Magna Carta Homes, engaged in a major renovation project in Quebec, Canada in 1978. The project was the gutted Jonquière's old Anglican church, which Stu and the building crew totally refurbished without altering its original design. Since then the church was named as one of the historic buildings of that region. After more years of renovations and inspiring outlets of his skills, Stu created the Magna Carta Homes, a luxury home building company with both Stu and Brenda overseeing the construction of homes, from foundation to finish.
Magna Carta recently featured the epitome of its fine home building - its new dream project, “The Duchesse”. Not only does this home showcase their desire do it right, but also complements aesthetics with form and function to provide comfort and inspire the heart. This dream project combines a flair of French Country architecture and classic passion for quality and excellence.
Located only 10 minutes from Calgary's city limits in the country living community of Bearspaw, it is also near Cochrane and conveniently close to Banff National Park and the Rocky Mountains.
“The Duchesse” is indeed the dream project of Magna Carta in many ways, and without a doubt, someone's dream home come true.
