Webber Academy, a private west side Calgary school offers kids from K-12 an exceptional educational experience to thrive academically. Full day Junior and Senior Kindergarten programmes, elementary grade programs (1-6) and Junior High (grades 7,8,9) encompass a mixture of core academic courses, information technology, foreign second languages, computer programs, computer applications, fine arts, music and physical education. The athletic programs include house leagues, elementary sports clubs, cross- country, badminton, track + field, basketball, volleyball, soccer, rugby and golf. The senior high school program (grades 10-12) primarily focuses on preparation for university and post secondary. Senior student coursework is primarily based on the academic requirements of these pursuits. University credits may be earned in advance through the internationally recognized Advanced Placement Programme (AP), and 99 percent of Webber graduates go on to pursue a university or similar post-secondary education. The Webber Academy was ranked by the Fraser Institute in the top three schools of 262 schools in Alberta, based on grade 12 assessment achievements.
