The Project's Ground Floor raised above June Flood Level

Located along the Elbow River, this luxury Calgary condos for sale were redesigned to make its ground floor higher than the highest watermark left during the catastrophic Calgary June flood. Elevating the ground floor by more than 2 feet required a significant construction as it comes only after the underground parking was already underway. Also installed was a protection against the impact of possible strong flooding in the future.
The 26th Avenue River Holdings Inc., developer of this Calgary condos for sale, worked with Dialog Architects, consultants for the design and implementation of flood mitigation measures, and The City of Calgary. According to the director of sales for the project / Calgary realtor, Anne Clarke, the enhanced design will provide comfort and peace of mind to those who choose to live in this luxury waterfront condo for sale located at 135 26th Ave. S.W.
The River project sales was first launched in March 2012. Now it has only 12 homes left available. The condo for sale has a 15-storey tower with 26 Towerhomes and 38 residences including 12 Riverhomes. It is expected to be completed in the summer of 2015.
