The inner city community of Britannia saw the most expensive Calgary single family home sold in 2012 at $6,000,000. The top 10 list was rounded out by a luxury home in the prestigious neighbourhood of Mount Royal at $2,785,000.  All of these homes were built in the last 10 years except two.

The list below highlights the highest priced single family homes in 2012 sold in Calgary's desirable inner city communities of Britannia, Briar Hill, Elbow Park / Glencoe and Mount Royal. Only one luxury home was located in the SE neighbourhood of Lake Bonavista Estates.

The Calgary Real Estate Board's (CREB®) December 2012 Calgary Regional Housing Market Statistics for the City of Calgary confirmed that there was a 5.7% increase in residential sales activity over December 2011.
