Originally constructed in 1887 as the Parish Hall for St. Johns
Anglican Cathedral, the building functioned as a Sunday school and
eventually held its own Anglican congregation. Having sat vacant for
the past number of years, the property had begun to fall into
disrepair. The redevelopment of this North End Winnipeg landmark will
aid in the revitalization of the entire community. The exterior of this
heritage building will undergo extensive structural and cosmetic
restoration, re-establishing itself as a significant piece of the North
Main streetscape. The interior will be skillfully divided into six
contemporary loft-style condominiums. Through the preservation of
exquisite interior detailing, warmth and character will resound in the
decidedly urban suites. Construction to begin in Spring 2008, with a
goal of achieving a LEED® gold certification.
