To the east of the Calgary International Airport lies the community of Martindale.  This northeast community is north of 64 Ave NE to 80 Ave NE, between Metis Trail NE and Falconridge Blvd NE.  Construction on the residential area began in the early 1980s with portions of the community released in stages, with some homes in Martindale built as recently as 2008.  

Martindale is a younger community with an average resident age of 32 years, and is one of the quadrant’s largest communities with a population of 14,000.  The northeast LRT Line runs through the community from downtown and the popular Genesis Centre, Calgary recreation facility is located in the neighbourhood.

About Martindale Real Estate

Martindale is a low density residential NE Calgary community, with single family homes on narrow lots.  Detached homes make up 87% of all dwellings with the balance of homes being semi-detached or townhomes.  There are no apartment condominiums in this neighbourhood.  The owner occupancy rate is very high at 75% and the average price of homes for sale In Martindale is between $385,000 and $420,000 with variances between $270,000 and $450,000.
